Sunday, 9.23.18 (3-4:30pm)-Common Ground Country Fair in Unity, Maine. Guitarist Robby Coffin and I will be performing on the amphitheater stage to end this years’ fair. Come on up for what has become a Maine Fall pilgrimage for so many…great vendors, exhibits, animals, arts and eats…oh and can you say fried shitake mushrooms?!

~April 15-20: I’m humbled and grateful to have the opportunity to join a small group of monastics/mindfulness practitioners on a 60 mile section on the “Path of Happiness” retreat, as they hike from Blue Cliff monastery in New York, ending with a peace walk in Washington, DC. The section I’m joining starts with a Day of Mindfulness in New York City (finally get to stay/hang with Trina Hamlin in the big city!) and ends near Allentown, PA. I’m looking forward to practicing mindfully in the wilderness and dropping my habit of trying to get “somewhere” (usually in a hurry). www.pathofhappiness.org

It’s been a spectacular Maine summer here-backpacking, kayaking, sun, gigs, family time, tubing, even a turbo, 3 day cross country RV trip…and it only gets better from here…ICELAND! for a backpacking and tourist adventure is on the docket for 2 weeks then, I’ll be resting/rejuvenating at Blue Cliff monastery in New York ( where I am humbly being ordained into the “Order of Interbeing”). Mindfulness and meditation has become a Big part of my Path and I am so happy to live it and share it in a variety of forms-music, being one…
Robby Coffin and I will join up to close out the summer at Drummore Bay Concert Hall in Phippsburg and again for two “Graze at Pineland Farms” shows. JOINS NATIONWIDE VIGILS ON DECEMBER 14 from 7-8:30PM TO #EndGunViolence ON THE FOURTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SANDY HOOK TRAGEDY
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Brunswick will hold a vigil on this fourth anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy, commemorating those who died on that sad day and the 120,000 American victims of gun violence since December 2012. This year we are offering “Music in Memoriam” featur…ing members of the UUCB church and choir, and Maine singer/songwriter Lynn Deeves. Two videos will be shown of the faces of those who have died at Sandy Hook and in 2015 by gun violence. The vigil will be part of a nationwide tribute in partnership with the Newtown Action Alliance & the Newtown Foundation and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. We will offer a special recognition to members of Maine Moms Demand Action and Mainers for Responsible Gun Ownership. We will renew our promise to continue the work to #EndGunViolence.
